Greetings and welcome to Friday and the end of July! Have folks had some fun and relaxing vacations?
Saturday and Sunday is the sixth annual Art, Oysters & Brew event in Toledo (noon until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday). EDALC has been a partner since the beginning, but over the last two years (this year especially), EDALC has taken the lead role in organizing the event. We’ve also had great support from the City and from the Toledo Chamber of Commerce (a first!).
So if you are looking for something fun, come on down to Main Street for cajun grilled oysters from The Timbers, craft beer and wine, food trucks, nearly 30 artists and vendors, a petting zoo and the best musical line-up the event has ever had (and not just because Paul is the opening act – the other musicians are AMAZING!). So this isn’t really an update this week – the whole team has been working on the event logistics nonstop this week. So we’ll see you for another regular update next Friday.
