Update on Lincoln County’s Economy Status

An updated analysis of Lincoln County’s economy, highlighting recent trends and market changes

The Economic Development Alliance of Lincoln County commissioned an update to an existing report on the status of the county’s economy from 2014. Funding for the study was provided by the Lincoln County Board of Commissioners. The Research Group, LLC (TRG) prepared the report, using an economic base model consistent with their prior research, allowing for analysis of both local and coast-wide economic trends. This updated Economic Report provides insight into the county’s economic conditions in the mid 2020’s, highlighting trends in employment, industry sectors, income and demographics. The analysis primarily draws on the most recent data available from 2024, reflecting current conditions while acknowledging ongoing policy and economic changes. This report is designed to support informed decision making, and serves as a data-driven resource for policymakers, businesses, community leaders and residents working to strengthen Lincoln County’s economic resilience and prosperity.
