- On Tuesday, Paul and Sarah trekked to Corvallis for an in-person regional meeting of the Cascades West Economic Development District partners to kick off the update process for the region’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy. Paul delivered the opening presentation. Group discussions were led by Aniko Drlik-Muehleck, of the University of Oregon’s Institute for Policy Research and Engagement (she was a speaker at EDALC’s first economic summit).
- Paul convened a CWEDD Executive Committee meeting this week to do the final planning for the quarterly full board meeting that will be held in Lincoln County (the full board meets in Lincoln County once each year) on November 14th at the Central Coast Food Web.

- Stacie managed inquiries re: O2IH website RFP.
- Paul met with Fletcher Conn (North Pacific Consulting) to narrow down the scope of several potential consulting projects relating to the Blue Economy.

- ROI – Paul is wrapping up the interim grant report for Business Oregon’s Rural Opportunity Initiative program, which he’ll submit on Wednesday of next week.
- Fail Fest – Sarah began working on a video of last week’s Fail Fest event. Stacie posted thank you reel on fb and ig with participating companies/orgd tagged.

- BEAD – Paul met with the team from LCSD and also Pioneer Telephone Cooperative to explore potential approaches to a potential Lincoln County Broadband Equity, Access and Deployment infrastructure grant application. Some important questions were raised that Paul will investigate further.

- ComEcDev Grant Program – Paul and Sarah worked this week to put together the final touches for Monday’s virtual grant workshop. So far, there are 19 folks signed up for the event. Stacie updated the screamsheet to align with branding and posted workshop reminders to social media.
- Oregon Prospector – Sarah updated Oregon Prospector listings and checked old ones to make sure they were still active. She also began looking into potential properties for a local construction company looking to expand.

- Leslie is with CTSI Chief Administrative Officer, Lisa Norton, at the week-long American Indigenous Tourism Conference hosted by the American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association (AIANTA) and the Tunica-Biloxi Tribe of Louisiana in Marksville, LA. She will be back with a recap next week.
